I do recommend this tour company, largely due to the incredible professionalism and compassion of our guide, Ade, and lead Renato. During our trek, I suffered a severe tonsillitis infection with a high fever, forcing my partner and me to turn back on the first day. Renato handled the situation flawlessly. He immediately arranged for a porter to safely guide us back and coordinated with the office to ensure we could rejoin the group for the final day at Machu Picchu. Their support during a stressful time was truly above and beyond. Although our hike was cut short, the food we did experience was absolutely incredible. The chef prepared the most amazing Peruvian dishes. Renato also has knowledge about almost everything about the Inca and Machu Picchu. This team doesn't just run a tour; they take genuine care of their guests. If you're looking for a company that will look after you no matter what, choose this one.

Machu Picchu: Inca Trail hike 4 days & Vistadome Train

This was one of the hardest challenges I have personally faced and TreXperience made the journey so much easier. The Chef, Sous chef, Head Porter and Porter gang themselves were absolutely incredible. Highly recommend hiking the Inka Trail to Machu Pichu with this company. Food was incredible and plentiful (Big Thanks to "Alejandro" and "Bruno") Dan "The Legend" Tour guide was knowledgeable and funny, a brilliant guide to have with many stories and motivational speeches. Guide Assistant "Rayo" was always cheerful and trying his best to keep people moving and motivated for the long walks (at your own pace as well, not pressured once). Everything was explained day in and day out with no confusion and all in all it was a great experience. The Porters carried all additional personal belongings, clothes and extras in the duffle bags as well as all the food and necessary camp gear that make the journey easier, its amazing what they do. Massive thanks to them and Head Porter "Alfredo". So big, big thank you for this comapny for making this happen!!!

Private Single Tent

As this Review is requested for tje private Single tent- I highly recommend those for any solo travellers. All the acommodations were pretty spacious and comfortable. Only in one campside we had some issues due to the occopancy but that could have been solved quickly trough Our guides and let everybody happy.

Ultimate Salkantay Trek 5 days to Machu Picchu

The trip was very good organized from the beginning, where we had always a contact person on hand. Our guides did an amazing job, so that also some slower hikers felt comfortable and if there were some needs,they were on zhe scene to help.food and accomodation were fantastic! Short Inca Trail to Machu Picchu in 2 Days

I had a great time doing the short inca trail. Also big thanks to Kate, our tour guide for sharing the history and giving a personal insight to the culture and spirituality of the incas. Enjoyed the food prepared by the chefs during the hike. Had a great team to hike up to macchu picchu with. Would definitely visit again and explore other parts of cusco with Trexperience.

extra 3 nights

This was a challenging and rewarding trip, overall, I thought it was great. The porters and guides did a great job and work very hard to ensure the customers are happy. The only issue I had was the night before the hike started many people were on a guided tour that did not return to Cusco until after 7PM. Then we had to go to orientation, and many people were very tired and had to get dinner and get packed before an early pickup at 4AM and a full day of hiking. My suggestion would be to eliminate one stop on this tour day to ensure hikers have enough time to prepare for the hike and get a good night’s sleep. Also, I think it is important to stress that hikers be fit before trying a hike like the Salkantay trail, I think some people think they will just “tough it out” but this trail requires a person to be physically and mentally fit. One other small issue, I thought I would be in a tent by myself, I remember specifically asking for this and was willing to pay more money. However, when we got out there, I found out I was not in a tent by myself. I was traveling with a companion so it was ok but if I was by myself, I would not have been happy to be in a tent with someone I don’t know. My suggestion is to make sure your customers understand what they are getting with regards to sleeping arrangements.
