We had an incredible time with Trexperience, our guides Nilton and Danil made the experience extra special, they were both knowledgeable and very funny. Everything was taken care of for us to a high standard by the whole crew. The food was excellent and catered to everyone’s dietary needs. It was an unforgettable experience that we will reminisce about for a long time. Thank you
View full reviewWe enjoyed our tour and our guide. Sebastian was very kind and patient. He is very knowledgeable about the history of Machu Picchu and we enjoyed learning unique details from him, as a local, Quechua speaker. I have been to MP before without a guide, and this time it was nice to have a guide to help make more sense of what we were seeing. It was also helpful to have a guide help us get on the bus, find where to go, etc. I do recommend this tour and guide, definitely worth it.
View full reviewThe Cusco and Machu Picchu tour was very good. Kate, our guide, was very passionate regarding the history and culture of the Andean people. I'm glad we added a day in Cusco before the tour to give us time to partially acclimate, since I had issues with the altitude. Kate was considerate of me and my well-being and helped me when I had trouble with some of the steps at Machu Picchu. The Sacred Valley was absolutely beautiful. Machu Picchu is magnificent. The only improvement suggestion I have is that more communication on logistics would have been better. For example, the bus back from the train station to Cusco was not as described.
View full reviewThe tour is amazing! I absolutely loved it! All three days are well designed and packed. For the first sacred valley day, I liked the salt mine and ollantaytambo incan site the most. The two day inca trail is fantastic. The first day"s hike, about six hours, is tough but totally worth it. The second day is Machu Picchu, and I added the WaynaPicchu hike, which to me personality the best part of the trip. It took us two and half hours up and down. the stairs and trail.up are very challenging, but totally doable. You just need to take your time and take breaks. But both the journey and the views on top are just spectacular. All of my guides are great. René for the first day is very knowledgeable. So are Gary and a William for the second day. And they are fun! The only thing I would say is that the.guides may touch base late the night before. If you are anxious, reach out to the head office and they will tell you the names and WhatsApp numbers of the guides and you can touch base directly yourself. That's what I did. All in all. Amazing experience.

View full reviewVery good time. We were only a group of 3 people, so it was very personal. Alex, our tour guide was very professional and had an extremely good knowledge about everything. He was very helpful and caring with everything. The Porters/Chefs were very good and helpful as well. The equipment was very good and the food was the best. 100% recommend this to anyone, best way to see MP.
View full review1. Guides Grobber and Pepe were amazing ... Grobber's English was exceptional and his understanding of the Inca history, culture, trek, and Machu Picchu were amazing - he genuinely wanted to share with all of us (he was from a village along the trek and was VERY proud of his family's role). Pepe - was an amazing complement - his English was good but not as strong ... but he made up for this with his trail navigation ... Our twin boys ran/speed walked up front with pepe with endless stories and challenges ... while mom and dad (61) hung near the back happy to complete each day's mileage. 2. Equipment - Sleeping tents, private bathroom, dining tent, kitchen equipment, walking poles (and if needed sleeping bags and air mattresses were high quality) - we had lots of rain on the last night and had NO water in the tent ... I was a boy scout leader for years with lots of camping - I was impressed. 3. Food - blown away impressive ... I served in the US Army for 30 years ... was a boy scout leader for 10+ years, and have now taken some very engaging adventurous trips (white water rafting in Patagonia, Chile, and Northern Canada) and the food they prepared on two propane burbers with pots/pans they carry on their backs was amazing ... we had chicken and rice dishes, beef and quinoa dishes, cakes for dessert - suffice to say there was an excessive variety and amazing flavor - no one went hungry and everyone bragged about the quality 4. Water - available at every Meal to refill bladders or Nalgene's - never an issue - most came from mountain springs. 5. Porters - we had 13 Trekkers and 23 support (2 guides, 2 chefs, 1 waiter, one head porter and 17 actual porters (the individuals that carried everything) ... they were amazing ... always beat us to the next location and had tents set up waiting for us ... water available, tea and snacks for an appetizer, and then an hour later dinner ready for all. 6. 4-days of trekking ... d Day 1 relatively flat (shakeout) - 10K (6.2M) ... traveling along the river to start passing through villages and neighborhoods [first night we slept in a great location with a store and wifi available for a small price $3.30). Day 2 - this was 12K and included a VERY challenging climb through Dead Woman's pass (13,843 feet) - followed by a down hill to the camp for the night. Day 3 - 90 minute uphill again and then rolling up and down - this was 16K (~10M) ... to the final campsite Day 4 - 6K total with a climb to the sungate ... and then descent into Machu Picchu) - the view was amazing ... surreal looking down on that level of history after having walked the Inca trail for 4 days. The closeout was a bus ride down the mountain, a lunch in the nearby town, train ride to our shuttle pick up point, and a shuttle back to Cusco ... Bottom Line: it was grueling & challenging - but amazingly rewarding! You must be in reasonable shape ... Altitude sickness medication is recommended (my family of 4 all took it ... ) - but you'll come away with a feeling of accomplishment that will leave you looking for the next grand adventure!

I had the best guide named Katie! She made this trip so special. She offered so much extra information and time for me to explore and soak in the sites. She was so considerate and educated. I would recommend her as a guide to anyone visiting the area.
