Truly the best experience! Machu Picchu is incredible, the trek had so many breathtaking moments. But it was honestly our guides Alan and David who made the trip so brilliant. So much knowledge, we got to learn the whole history and so many interesting details and they are both such great people. We couldn't have been in better hands. Kudos TreXperience, you have the best guides! I have to also mention the food, it was brilliant. Much thanks to the chef Raymundo, we were all stunned how tasty the food was and how many choices there were. A true VIP experience. Once more, thank you so so much Alan and Davico, you guys are the best and made this a trip of a lifetime! Rawr!!
View full reviewWe really enjoyed our trip with Alan and David. They speak really good English and are of very good spirit. They made the trip very enjoyable and made us laugh a lot. The food from Raymundo was very delicious! How impressive that he and his family were able to carry all the ingredients, tents and materials up to the lunch point and prepare 5 dishes in the same amount of time that we just needed to hike! Thanks to everyone! Even though it is expensive, I do not regret booking it at all. It makes macchu Picchu a much more amazing experience than just taking the train
View full reviewIt was a great trip, much more challenging than I expected, but I can’t say enough about how accommodating and helpful both Gary and Junior were as guides. Unforgettable trip unforgettable views well managed super impressed with the Porters

View full reviewVery good organised 2 day tour to Sacred valley & Machu Picchu, everything was clear and in time. Knowledgeable, professional guides. Wanted to say special thank you to our guide Eddie Puma and the team who were not only high professionals but also were very responsive when we encountered a personal issue with a forgotten bag, they worked hard and managed to get our bag back to a different city before our flight in just a few hours Thank you so much guys, best luck in what you do! Highly recommended
View full reviewOnce in a lifetime experience. TreXperience made the journey easy and stress free. All logistics were taken care of from door to door, so all we had to do was wake up and jump in the van. Communication was clear and easy to follow. The train ride into Machu Picchu was an unforgettable experience in itself, and the walking tours through Machu Picchu were the icing on the cake. Our guide was patient, caring and very informative. Would not have been the same without him. Would definitely recommend for future travelers.
View full reviewOur 4 day/3 night luxury experience on the Inca Trail was beyond even our highest expectations. Every detail was planned and executed to perfection, and we have the highest praise for our journey. Let’s start with our head guide- Abelardo. He is incredible. Our group had a wide range of physical abilities, and he timed our hiking, breaks, pace, snacking, and hydration so that every traveler was successful. His primary concern was always for our health and safety. His knowledge of Incan history and the Inca Trail is impressive and greatly added to our experience. He taught us so much about the Incan culture then, and about Peruvian culture today for people living and working on the trail. We were delighted to live among real Peruvians for our time on the trail- such special and wonderful people. It was evident that Abelardo was fully in charge of the entire crew and it ran with precision. He treated our crew with respect, and it was given to him in return. Our assistant guides were Juan Cesar, Evangelino, Rosa, Efrain, and Fernadino. Before our journey, we could not imagine why we needed so many. We quickly learned how valuable they would be to the success of our trip. Each one was friendly and attentive to our EVERY need and visiting with them on the trail every day added to the enjoyment of our journey. While they were friendly and courteous, they were also very watchful always anticipating challenging situations we might encounter on the trail. It gave us great comfort and encouragement to have them by our sides. Our chefs, Daniel and Vincent, prepared meals that again were beyond our high expectations. Every meal was prepared with the finest ingredients to the highest standards of flavor and gorgeous presentation. We still cannot figure out how they were able to prepare wonderful 4-course meals in such a small kitchen. We especially appreciated the special meals of the same high quality that they prepared for our vegan and lactose-intolerant travelers. Most special was the birthday cake they baked and decorated for me- beautiful and delicious! The food was an absolute highlight of our trip. Prior to booking, the main selling point of the Luxury Experience for us was the inclusion of a daily massage and our masseuses, Elisabeth and Marilee, did not disappoint! They were excellent. We expected one masseuse perhaps using a massage chair. What we received were two masseuses, a dedicated massage tent, comfortable portable massage tables and a FULL body massage every day for each traveler. They were friendly and respectful and very well trained. It was an amazing daily experience that added so much to the enjoyment of our trip. Now to the people who made the trip the most special, the porters. From the moment we stepped out of the van and were greeted by their smiling faces, we knew we were in for a special experience. Prior to the trip, we could not understand why 47 of them were needed- but when we entered camp the first day, we immediately understood. Beautiful tents, luxury bedding, a shower, a rest room, fabulous food served on real dishes, glasses and silverware, and lovely decorations were all transported on the backs of these wonderful men. They greeted us each day upon arrival at camp with cheers and enthusiastic applause. It was such a special way to celebrate the end of a hard day’s journey. Our porter boss, Santos, ran an excellent crew. Each porter had their own assignment, and they all worked together in perfect harmony. We were amazed by their strength, endurance and friendliness when we saw them on the trail every day. Our daily encounter with each one was yet another highlight of the trip. When we say that every detail was thought of by our crew, here is the perfect example. On night two hot water bottles were delivered to us at our evening meal. They soothed our tired muscles and made our beds warm and cozy. Due to the distance that porters had to travel to get fresh water the next day at Camp 3, we were not provided with hot water bottles that evening. However, when we requested them, they arrived minutes later. On the trail the following day we experienced that extreme distance and steep terrain the porters had to travel to get that extra water. It is just one example of the luxury, comfort and service the crew willingly provided to us on a daily basis. Little did we know that among our porters was our shaman, Climaco. On the third afternoon of the trek, we were taken to a private place and participated in a spiritual ceremony of gratitude to Pachamama. It was a beautiful and reverent experience for all of us that added to our appreciation of the beauty and blessings that surrounded us. It was very special and greatly appreciated. Finally, we are grateful to the Trexperience office staff members as well. The details of our booking, pre-hike briefing, hotel pick up, trail entry, hike, tour of Machu Picchu, train trip back to Ollantaytambo, and van trip back to Cusco and luggage transfer were planned and executed flawlessly. Our only suggestion is that the company be more specific about tipping guidelines for the size of crew needed for the luxury experience. This lack of guidance was our only frustration. While general guidelines were provided after booking, more specific tipping guidelines are needed for the luxury experience. Without this information and wanting to tip the crew commensurately with our fabulous experience, it required that we had to stop at the ATM on the way back to Cusco. It would be best if this could be avoided by providing travelers with adequate information specific to the Luxury Experience so that they can come prepared with sufficient funds to express their gratitude to the crew. Again, we want to thank all our crew members for the part each one played in providing us with the most special experience of our lifetimes. We will highly recommend Trexperience to our friends who want the ultimate Inca Trail experience. Thank you for everything.
