View full reviewI am still smiling thinking about the experience on the Inca trail! The hike was challenging (especially when you live at sea level) but so rewarding! Incredible views! Best part though was the human connection. Our guides were fantastic (thank you Julio, Sharon and Klever) supportive and giving us insights about the Inca culture. I also feel super lucky about our group! Trip started with a bunch of strangers and ended up with friends And I should also talk about the FOOD and our amazing porters who made our trip so unique 100% recommend
View full reviewThis was such a beautiful experience, MP really is a sacred and special place and my guides Vicente and Renato made sure that every detail was in place so we didn’t have to worry about anything and could simply fully enjoy the entire experience. Vicente has so much incredible knowledge with a spicy delivery ;) and it made things even more engaging and memorable. Both made me feel so cared for and part of a community. From the transport, to the hike, to the insanely good food, to the great hotel, to the party train on the way back, I can’t think of a single thing that wasn’t absolute perfection. I can’t recommend this hike enough!

View full reviewWe had an amazing time on our short in a trail adventure. Our guide Kate was awesome- she really helped me through some of the struggles I was having and created a beautiful, spiritual, unforgettable experience for us. She had amazing knowledge of the history and passed it on to us in a very special way. We were fed unbelievably well and just absolutely loved the whole experience. Amazing communication from Trexperience - would 100% recommend them. A highlight of our lives that we will never forget! Thankyou so much!
View full reviewIt was an amazing experience. Trexperience made it a once in a lifetime experience. Everything was well taken care of. The accommodation was great, the food was great and the guides even better. An absolute must do!
View full reviewThe trek up Huayna Picchu was the cherry on top of the Machu Pichu hike. Seeing the site from an aerial view was even more impressive realizing the planning of the Incans to shape the site in the form of a condor.
View full reviewIt was an experience of a lifetime! The Trexperience team was very helpful through the booking process and we had clear/regular communication throughout. Gary was a very knowledgeable guide and made the Machu Picchu day memorable. Eliyas is a gem - his motivation kept us going. Big thanks to the chefs and the horsemen for taking care of us over the 5 days as well. And of course, we massively lucked out with the group - such a lovely bunch of fellow trekkers.

Our trek to Machu Picchu with TreXperience was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Peru, and it was made even more special thanks to our incredible guide, Renato. From the moment we started, Renato treated our small group of four like royalty. He made sure we were well-prepared for every step of the journey, and when we didn’t quite follow instructions (oops!), he graciously shared his insect repellent—more than once! Renato's knowledge of Machu Picchu and the region's history was impressive, and he shared it in such an engaging and fun way. He has a fantastic sense of humor, and it didn’t take long before our group had inside jokes and a great camaraderie. The food on the trail was absolutely amazing—some of the best we had in all of Peru! Big shout out to our trail chef, Bascileo, who prepared hot, home-cooked meals for both breakfast and lunch, complete with coffee. We were blown away by the quality and care put into every meal. The only less than enjoyable food we had was dinner after the Inca Trail hike on day 1 - we would have been happy to see a different restaurant choice as none of us enjoyed the food (the company was good though) A few tips from our experience: Hiking boots were definitely a good call—there were some wet and muddy parts of the trail where the extra grip and ankle support made a big difference. If you have a hydration pack (like a CamelBak), bring it! It was super convenient. Renting trekking poles was also a great decision for added stability. Overall, we can’t recommend TreXperience and especially Renato enough. This experience was everything we hoped for and more—well organized, fun, and full of unforgettable moments.
