View full reviewAmazing experience!!! Our guides, Edy El Puma and Fernando were the best! We were so lucky to have guides who are Quechua locals to give us the full cultural experience. We enjoyed learning the history and cultures from the 2 Quechua guides who were happy and passionate about their heritage. The 2 day trip to Machu Pichu was beyond my expectations! Everything was perfect… the hike, the explanations, the food especially and the whole camping experience and of course the experiencing Machu Pichu from a cultural experience. I was deeply touched by them sharing the information from a Quechuan perspective!

View full reviewThe tour was more than I expected, and Julio Conde, our mountain guide was the perfect person to take us on that journey. He as knowledgeable in every aspect of this the tour, and kept us all feeling safe and in good hands (even thought we are big boys). The food was amazing, restaurant quality, and food portions were more than enough to keep us all very satisfied while out there day after day. The entire staff was professional, courteous, friendly. If I ever get back out for another hike in Peru, I want the same people / team taking care of me again. Thank you Julio for making this experience a magical and life changing experience.

Many thanks also to Dionisio and Fredy for their cooking skills - including a great variety of vegetarian meals. The transport of our bags was also smooth thanks to Santiago and Aly. It was overall a great experience that we would recommend

View full reviewThis was an incredible experience! Perfect amount of hiking on the first day accompanied by a delicious and beautifully presented breakfast and lunch. Arriving at Machu Picchu in the late afternoon with the iconic viewpoint. The second day you are able to walk through circuit 2 around majority of the ruins. What made the experience unforgettable was our tour guide Julia Ricardo. He was so informative explaining everything about the ruins along the hike on day 1 and throughout the entire day 2 tour around the Machu Picchu ruins. He was always patient and hiked along with us, was very friendly and talkative to us, always calling the group of 4 of us his family! He is always willing and excited to take photos for you as well. He was always on top of communicating the plan and meet up times at night on day 1 and the morning of day 2. We felt like everything was very organized and set up for us and we didnt have to worry about any logistics but still got to enjoy the outdoors on a easy to moderate 6-7 mile hike on day 1. Hotel was very nice and the included dinner in Aguas Calientes was at a very nice restaurant. Trains/bus transfers were all planned and set up in advance and Julio was always there with us to make sure we got to where we needed. Our chef Celso made a spectacular lunch with many shared dishes, more than enough to eat! Thank you TreXperience, thank you Julio and thank you Celso - I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

Help write review Great 2 day trip with one camping night along with crew of 12 including 2 guides and 8 ports and 2 chefs, all of who are from Incan heritage. What more can you ask for? Edy Puma and Fernando sexy llama were very knowledgeable and excellent with all historical background and significance of each ruin sites. What made it extra especially is the added perspective from someone with Incan background. Not only did we learn but we also experienced the charm and kindness and hospitality of the Quechua people.
