Pick up from your hotel at 8.00 am and drive to the Poroy train station. Upon arrival at the train station, you will be welcome aboard the Luxury Trains to Machu Picchu. Once on board the Hiram Bingham train, you will be welcomed with a delicious brunch and a refreshing Pisco Sour. The train is beautifully decorated and furnished with luxurious armchairs and elegant table settings. The observation car has panoramic windows that offer stunning views of the Andean landscapes.
After 4 hours of travel from Cusco, you will arrive in Aguas Calientes at 12:24 pm and be transferred to a private bus that will take you to the entrance of Machu Picchu. A knowledgeable guide will take you on a private tour of the citadel, where you will discover the secrets and history of this magnificent site. After the tour, you will have some free time to explore the site on your own and take in the stunning views of the Andes.
The guided tour of the citadel takes about 3 hours. Your guide will take you to the most spectacular places in the fortress, temples, plazas, and palaces and explain the Incas' lost city's history and mysteries. Later you will have some free time to explore the city, take the bus down to Aguas Calientes, and take the Luxury Hiram Bingham train back to Cusco.
