From April 10th to 20th, Ayacucho invites you to witness one of the most important holy weeks in Peru and the world: Ayacucho’s Holy Week 2025. During these days, the city streets are illuminated by incense, songs of faith, and the participation of thousands of people, all paying homage to the Passion, Death, and Resurrection of Christ.

These are the main activities during the Ayacucho holy week of 2025.
- Passion Thursday: April 10, Mass in honor of the image of Christ the Savior of the World and procession of the image.
- Passion Friday: April 11, Mass and procession of the images of the Lord of Agony and the Virgin of Sorrows.
- Passion Saturday: April 12, Mass and procession of the image of the Lord of the Vine.
- Palm Sunday: April 13, procession of the image of the Lord of Palms around the main square of Ayacucho, similar to Cusco and its Lord of Tremors.
- Holy Monday: April 14, Pilgrimage of devotees of the Nazarite. Mass and procession of the image of the Lord of the Garden.
- Holy Tuesday: April 15, Mass and procession of the image of the Lord of the Sentence. Transfer of Jesus of Nazareth to the Church of Santa Clara.
- Holy Wednesday: April 16, Procession of the images of Jesus of Nazareth, Our Lady of Sorrows, Saint John, and Veronica for the Meeting ceremony in Ayacucho's main square.
- Holy Thursday: April 17, Procession of the archdiocesan clergy, led by the Bishop of Ayacucho, and visits to the city's seven churches.
- Good Friday: April 18, Procession of the Lord of the Holy Sepulcher and Our Lady of Sorrows through Ayacucho's main square.
- Holy Saturday: April 19, Easter Vigil at the Cathedral Basilica of Ayacucho.
- Easter Sunday: April 20, Procession of the image of Our Lady of the Resurrection through Ayacucho's main square.
