The travel and tourism portal Travel + Leisure, with over 10 million readers, published an article dedicated to the Tropical Sea of Grau National Reserve, highlighting its high species diversity and natural landscapes.

Approved as a protected area just four months ago, it is located between the coasts of Piura and Tumbes and is home to 70% of Peru's aquatic species. This fact is emphasized by the publication, mentioning species such as humpback whales, hammerhead sharks, the Humboldt penguin, and the Pacific seahorse.

Additionally, the article notes that the new reserve's mission goes beyond preserving wildlife; it also protects against overfishing, strengthens the development of the area's tourism potential, and reduces the impacts of climate change.

The article is the result of a collaborative effort between Promperú and Mincetur, who maintain an international communication strategy aimed at promoting Peru as a unique destination for the U.S. market.
