In an interview with Agencia Andina, Claricia Tirado, the executive president of the organization, said their goal is to gather over 90,000 tourists, both from Peru and abroad. With a focus on local and Latin American visitors, she mentioned that the event “is a chance to showcase a strong gastronomic tourism product in Lima, something we haven't done in several years.”

She explained that the main goal is to create an event similar to Mistura, where Peruvian companies can showcase food from all regions of the country. “There will be restaurants from every part of Peru, and we'll organize many important activities. We want people to come and enjoy an event that makes them happy, where food, music, performances, and love for Peru come together. It’s going to be a very exciting event,” she said confidently.

The executive added that the public organization hopes to host more editions of Perú Mucho Gusto, with plans for events in the north, center, and south of the country. Based on the success in Tacna, which set a record with 85,000 visitors and a significant number of foreign tourists, there is a lot of optimism around these events.

“In Perú Mucho Gusto Tacna, we had over 8,000 foreign visitors, not only from Chile but also from Argentina, Bolivia, and Colombia. So, it's an event that attracts international travelers, and we expect the same for Lima. We’re working hard to offer special packages to make it easier for Latin Americans to attend the festival,” she concluded.
