My husband and I did the Full Day Super Sacred Valley with Maras and Moray tour with TreXperience, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. Our guide, Miguel Rosas, was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the area. His explanations were engaging, and he went above and beyond to help us capture beautiful photos throughout the day. The tour included lunch at a very clean and welcoming location. As a vegetarian, I really appreciated the wide variety of delicious options available. I highly recommend Miguel as a guide and TreXperience as a tour company â they truly made this day unforgettable!
View full reviewThis experience exceeded my expectations, everything was so well organised from beginning to end. We had 2 brilliant and knowledgeable tour guides, Abelardo and Renato. Abelardoâs knowledge of Machu Picchu was particularly impressive. I liked the accommodation on the first night and the views of Machu Picchu from the campsite on night 3, the hotel in Aguas Calientes was comfortable and clean. I was amazed at how good the food was given this is prepared in small kitchens / on campsites. Thanks to chefs Daniel and Elisabeth and their team. We certainly did not go hungry. I actually think less food could be prepared to save on weight for the porters to carry, as there was always so much leftover. I would recommend this tour in particular, and would definitely use TrEXperience again in the future.

I'm still pinching myself after experiencing the magic of Machu Picchu with the most incredible tour guide Kate (Katia) from Trexeperience! She is one of a small handful of female guides and she was perfect for our group of 6 girls! From the moment we met, I knew we were in good hands. She was warm, welcoming, and radiated passion for her culture and heritage. Throughout our journey, Kate shared fascinating insights into the history, mythology, and significance of Machu Picchu, bringing the ancient ruins to life. Her knowledge was impressive, and her enthusiasm was contagious! The hike was challenging (prepare for a lot of steps!) but we made it to the summit to see the sunset which was exhilarating! Our descent was fast⌠some of it was in the dark which was a little scary with the rain and slippery conditions. The chefs prepared delicious breakfast and lunch for us, We stayed at the El Mapi hotel which was rated as a four star but I would have given it a 3 . I would recommend this tour and specifically Kate from Trexeperience to anyone planning a trip to Machu Picchu. Her expertise, passion, and warmth will make your experience unforgettable.
