Trekking Food for Every Diet

On any trekking adventure to Machu Picchu, meals are essential to keep the group moving day after day. TreXperience invests in cooking training that turns skilled cooks into mountain-ready leaders, able to adapt in changing conditions, follow strict hygiene standards, and deliver nourishing meals that respect all dietary needs

This includes vegetarian, vegan, among other options, prepared with the same care and balance as the standard menu.

Peruvian Food on the Inca Trail

Peruvian cuisine is celebrated worldwide, and on the Inca Trail it becomes part of the experience, not just a meal between hikes. With the right planning and technique, our chefs bring local flavors to camp with balanced, satisfying dishes designed for trekking.

The result is a food experience that adds warmth, variety, and a memorable Peruvian touch to the adventure.

For trekking experience in the Andes, the small details often shape the experience as much as the views, especially on routes like the Classic Inca Trail, the Salkantay Trek and Lares Trek. Ongoing training helps strengthen our standards, turning into a smoother, more comfortable journey for our travelers.

Wondering what “good trekking food” really means? Get in touch and experience it on the trail.
