We did the 4 day Inca trail with Trexperience and it was absolutely amazing. Our guides JJ, G and Pepe were fun, knowledgeable and looked after us really well. The food was one of the highlights of the tour - we couldn’t believe how good it was when the first lunch came out! Top marks to the chef Julio. Also big shout to the porters who worked tirelessly carrying massive packs for us to have a comfortable and stress free time - head porter was Ruben and the rest of the team were incredible. Would highly recommend this tour with this company!!
View full reviewAmazing views, a difficult but doable hike, a lot of history. Our guide was wonderful, friendly, and knowledgeable. He was very understanding of how slow we took the uphill portion (breathing wasn’t so easy at that elevation but coca leaves helped with that).
View full reviewI highly recommend this track; it is of medium-high difficulty, but all basic facilities are provided. The food was great, and the guided tour was amazing and really knowledgeable. And a big big plus, always clean toilets

View full reviewThe tour was more than I expected, and Julio Conde, our mountain guide was the perfect person to take us on that journey. He as knowledgeable in every aspect of this the tour, and kept us all feeling safe and in good hands (even thought we are big boys). The food was amazing, restaurant quality, and food portions were more than enough to keep us all very satisfied while out there day after day. The entire staff was professional, courteous, friendly. If I ever get back out for another hike in Peru, I want the same people / team taking care of me again. Thank you Julio for making this experience a magical and life changing experience.

View full reviewI have been working with TreXperience for 6 years. They organized the Laris Trek for 4 friends, the Choquequirao trek for 3 friends and in June 2025 a family trip for 8 people for aThe 8 day tour including Lima, Paracas, Huacachina, Nazca, Cusco, the sacred valley and the 2 day trek to Machu Picchu. In every case the communication, level of service, coordination and attention to detail were superb. On th 8 day tour I worked with customizing the trip with Rosmel, who made sure the needs for individual members of our party were covered. Some didn't like to fly in small planes, some get sea sick, and in every case Rosmel made alternative arrangements so everyone had a good time. Even during the trip when issues came up with members in our party, Rosmel was able to make changes on the fly. The accomodation in all cases were superb, the guides were intelligent and in every case we were met at the airport on arrival with transport to our hotel, assistance with check in and even transport back to the airport at the end of the trip. If you want a full service, customizable experience with the best level of service, I can recommend TreXperience without hestation.

A trip you’ll never forget! Disregard the train, the only way to experience Machu Piccu is by the historic and unique Inca Trail hike. I’ll leave the reviews of the trail to others on here but it is amazing. This is a review of the tour group. My group was with head guide JJ and “G” and “Pepe” assisting. The entire booking experience was seamless, and this professionalism extended to the trip as well. We were a group of 18 and traveled in the dry season. Everything was taken care of and we were well cared for. Hidden gem: the food!! Head chef Julio amazed us with delicious cuisine along the way. The guides were wonderful even with early morning rises and long treks but the views were spectacular as were the memories. The porters, lead by Ruben, were also fantastic and kept us supplied. There are several options for hiking groups, but choose the Boys in Blue - TreXperience is the way to go!!
