More Than a Guide, Part of Our Journey ❤️

Thank You for Making This Journey Unforgettable ❤️ Looking back at these photos, I realize that some people may only walk with us for a short part of the journey, yet they become one of the most unforgettable parts of the entire trip. A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful guide for your patience, professionalism, care, and companionship throughout the journey. From the mountains and forests to every long ride on the road, you were always there, making sure everything went smoothly and everyone was well taken care of. A great guide does more than simply introduce places and tell stories. You made us feel safe in unfamiliar surroundings, helped us understand the beauty and culture around us, and turned a group of travelers into friends sharing the same unforgettable memories. Thank you for every helping hand, every smile, every laugh, and every beautiful moment along the way. The journey may have come to an end, but the memories, the laughter, and the kindness we experienced will stay with us for a very long time. Thank you for being part of our Peru adventure. We are truly grateful for everything you did for us. Until we meet again on another journey. ❤️

Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu Tour 2 days - Elisabeta Carmen Morosan x2

★★★★★

¡Tupanantiskama!

Stunning Views Made Better by an Incredible Guiding and Cooking Team

The 4-Day Salkantay Trek with TreXperience was an absolute masterpiece of an adventure. Guide Yovan is a legend. His perfect pacing made the grueling 4,630m pass manageable, and his deep knowledge of Inca history and Quechua culture brought the entire landscape to life. TreXperience camps closer to the mountain on night one, sleeping in the tents under the stars was unforgettable, with surprise hot water bag and the multi-course meals prepared by the mountain chefs were restaurant-quality, porters too ensuring they transport and setup prior to our return. Subsequent stays, coffee tasting and cooking class all elevated the experiences. From Humantay Lake to the Vistadome train back to Cusco, one of the best experiences, highly recommended.

Salkantay Trek 5 Days to Machu Picchu with Vistadome Train

★★★★★

It has been a wonderful experience—both from a sporting perspective, due to the physical challenge of the trek, and on a personal level, because of what we experienced and shared. Special mention goes to the team of porters and cooks for their tremendous effort and for making our stay so comfortable, as well as to the lead guide, José Abad, and the assistant guides, Alejandro and Lourdes, who led the group splendidly and helped us with every detail we needed. A 10 out of 10.

Lares Trek to Machu Picchu 4 Days - Manoela Miranda x2

★★★★★

The Lares trail was breathtaking! Making us pause at every turn to enjoy the view and really take it all in! A wonderful experience to spend some nights in these giant mountains. The chef even prepared warm water to wash our hands, and hot water bottles for our sleeping bags as well as thick blankets for the cold weather at night. Our team was so enthusiastic and kind and really made the trip wonderful. In Machu Picchu our wonderful guide gave us not just history but science lessons, very knowledgeable and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! I how to visit again soon!

Salkantay Trek 11/10

Really awesome tour! We did the 5-Day Salkantay Trek. Our tour guide, Fernando, was a really kind, funny guy and knew everything we asked him. He told us a lot about nature, Inka culture and history. The whole group with him felt more like a friends trip, which we all enjoyed. He also always informed us with the important details about our next steps, reminded us when necessary and made sure, we got the best experience possible. We never worried about our safety during the tour. We slept in Tipis, little huts and tents which were all comfortable and in good shape. The first night is very cold and we all got hot water bottles to put in our sleeping bag which at that point was the best to keep us warm and cozy. Every day, we got something different for breakfast, lunch and dinner, which was always top quality, very diverse and kept us full for the next hike. It's a mix of local, classic Peruvian good, with fresh ingredients and they also respected any dietary restrictions. It really felt like comfort food. Food was always ready when we arrived at the lunch spot or campsite. Big respect for the chef Fredy and his cooking staff. The Salkantay Trek is a great combination between nature, glacier views, jungle, Inka history, some challenging hikes and fun along the way. I really think we got the best guide and staff possible! The stay in Aguas Calientes was nice and comfortable, though the room in the hotel was next to the train tracks and quite loud. Machu Picchu was incredible to see. We got a 3 pm ticket for circuit 2, which is great because it is less busy then. Our guide, Roberto, knew a lot about the Inkas and also was happy to be our personal photographer. The only unfortunate thing was that our train was booked for 6:20 pm which meant we had ~2 hours for Machu Picchu itself, which is honestly quite short. Roberto made sure, we make it in time, but that meant we couldn't walk around the site by ourselves anymore. It would've been better to book a later train ticket, or recommend us to stay another night in Aguas Calientes, which would've been more enjoyable for us. We would have liked a more transparent communication from the office about the last day and the return to Cusco since we only got the details at the last day. If we had known more, we would've e.g. booked another night in Aguas Calientes or asked for a later train. Overall, the experience was much more and better than we expected. It felt very complete and like we got the best of everything. I would recommend the Salkantay Trek over the Inka trail for everone who enjoys the nature + Inka history combination and likes being physically active. The main tour guide Fernando, the chef Fredy and his cooking staff, as well as our guide in Machu Picchu Roberto are 11/10.

Salkantay Trek 5 Days to Machu Picchu with Vistadome Train

★★★★★

The trek is challenging, especially because of the elevation you have to climb to reach Salkantay. That said, it's well worth the effort. The scenery and the route are beautiful. I definitely recommend doing it.

Choquequirao Trek to Machu Picchu 6 Days - Manoela Miranda x2

★★★★★

We had an amazing TreXperience! The trail and weather worked out wonderfully! For a while we even had Choquequirao all to ourselves. Our guide was so attentive and knowledgeable and eager to share his experiences and culture with us. The FOOD!!! Honestly ate better on trail than in Cusco! And desserts were such a welcome treat. Loved talking with the everyone during tea/coffee time every night, such a great way to unwind and get to know each other. The only thing I did not enjoy about the experience was our guide having to leave because of a booking conflict and we were sent on with different guides to Machu Picchu. Otherwise a genuinely great experience and would absolutely book again.
