What Our Travelers Say
Unforgettable journeys leave lasting impressions, and we’re proud to have received over 10,000 reviews from hikers, adventurers, and families who’ve trusted us with their TreXperience. Each review—positive or not—helps us understand what we’re doing well and where we can improve. We truly value this feedback and sincerely thank everyone who’s taken the time to share their experience.
We did a tour with multiple couples and picked the "Luxury" package - which included post-hike 30-40 minute massage the first 3 days, amazing 4 course meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, hot camp showers, and queen sized tents with cots, sheets, blankets and sleeping bags. The tour guide and assistants were outstanding, we grew close to them over the course of the hike - laughing, joking, and even practicing Spanish & English with each other. The porters - numbering near 50, plus other support staff - were superstars. They carried everything except what we needed for daily needs in our personal backpack - cold/wet weather gear, snacks (which they provided), and sunscreen/bug repellent. They seemed happy supporting our journey, thanked *us* for visiting their community, and setup/broke down camp in what seemed like mere minutes. Our guides stopped at multiple places along the trek to point out and describe archaeological sites, plants, animals and other points of interest. They kept a pace we were comfortable with, and assistant guides helped those in our group that needed a little boost occasionally. The price for doing the upgraded luxury package was well worth it. Can't recommend these guys enough. If you're thinking of doing an Inca Trail hike, this company is the best from our observations of other companies along the way, my expectations were blown away by Trexperience!
View full reviewHiking the Inca Trail was one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life, and I can’t thank Edy Puma, Adeliz (Adi), and the whole team enough for making it so special. Edy’s passion for sharing the history of each Inca site was incredible—he told stories with such love and knowledge that it made every stop along the trail feel alive. Adi kept our spirits high with her energy, even turning exercises into little dances that made the tough parts fun. Our group of 13 hikers plus 2 guides truly became like one family because of their encouragement and care. The food on the trail was delicious and comforting—far beyond what I expected while hiking in the mountains. And the porters… they were unsung heroes. They carried our baggage with such effort and kindness, and somehow always had everything set up and ready for us before we even arrived. There were moments where the climb felt overwhelming, but thanks to the gang, the porters, and the bond within our group, we all pushed through together. I’ll carry this journey in my heart forever. If you’re thinking of doing the Inca Trail, I can’t recommend this team enough—they don’t just guide you, they take care of you like family.
View full reviewJason and Elias are the best guide team anyone could ever ask for. They created an excellent team atmosphere while, at the same time, taking care of every detail and passing on the knowledge of history, flora, fauna, and everyday life.

View full reviewWe did the Full Day Sacred Valley Tour with Willian. It was an intense, full day of seeing the most popular places in the Sacred Valley. Willian was super knowledgable and enthusiastic, explaining the history of each place we visited. We saw places that we wouldn't have otherwise been able to see if we weren't with a local. And it was definitely worth it to do the tour, as we learned so much about each place. We loved the tour, Willian was amazing, and we would definitely do it again!
View full reviewThis really was the trip of a lifetime. The whole TreXperience team was amazing and so supportive of all of our hikers. The food was exceptional (thank you Lucio), and Juan de Dios was an outstanding leader of the entire crew. We had perfect weather and the Inca ruins along the way were fascinating and beautiful. Highly recommend this trip!
View full reviewAll fine, the staff, the Guide and the co hikers as well. Second das ist nothing for beginners, willpower is needed. The food is excellent and the Equipment Like sleeping bags too. The only criticism is the government's process. This means you have to get up at 3 a.m. on the last day, and after walking a few meters, you end up waiting for two hours, exhausted and in the dark. This is because the government apparently only allows the poor porters to take the first train at 5:30 a.m. in Aguas Calientes, and the porters still have to carry all their equipment there.

We booked the Private Tour Guide for 3 Hours in Machu Picchu. Our guide was Alexa. She met us at our hotel in the morning, took the bus with us up to Machu Picchu, & then the full tour began. She was super knowledgable and knew every single detail about Machu Picchu, the history of the Incas, everything. We didn't feel rushed at all, she really took the time to explain everything, and answer our many questions. She even knew the best places to take photos so that we could get the money shots. It was definitely worth having her as a guide & we learned so much about the history, making it even more impressive of a place. Would definitely do this again!
