I just recently returned from my 4 day Inca Trail and let me just say, this was HONESTLY one of the best trips I have ever taken. Everything was extremely well organized, from the briefing before the hike to the campsites, food, and daily schedule on the trail. Our guides, Jose and Lourdes, were fantastic. They were so kind and patient, but also very knowledgeable about the trail, Inca history, local plants, etc. They explained everything in a very interesting and easy to understand way, and they made sure the whole group felt included and comfortable at all times. I also really appreciated that they were so flexible when needed but also always kept us on schedule and never made anyone feel rushed. Another really nice touch was when my friend had a birthday while on the trek. We told the team and they were able to make us a birthday cake out at the camp site! The food on the hike was amazing, and there was such a variety and so many healthy options. I have some dietary restrictions but they always had options for me that were also really yummy and I always felt super well taken care of. The group all hiked at our own pace and the guides organized everything perfectly so that we were all able to keep up and feel good at the end of each day. All in all, this was such an unforgettable experience with amazing scenery, kind people, and fantastic organization. I would definitely recommend TreXperience to anyone doing the Inca Trail, and I want to especially thank Jose and Lourdes for making this such a memorable adventure!
View full reviewOur experience was made by the great team from Trexperience. Juan de Dios led the group sharing his knowledge throughout, Efrain was the supporting guide who kept us going all the way through. And the food was unbelievable everyday prepped by Esteban and his team. The trek was fantastic. We got amazing views throughout of Humantey Lake, the Salkantay pass and finished in Machu Pichu. The accommodation was great throughout the trip, with the highlight being the first night almost ‘glamping’ at 4100m altitude, this is higher than any other groups and makes the second day so much easier! One tip: Bring toilet paper and small change for the duration of your trek, the toilets between campsites often cost 1-2 soles.
View full reviewIt’s hard to put into words how extraordinary our luxury Inca Trail trek to Machu Picchu truly was. From the moment we were met in Cusco by our guides and support team, we knew this was going to be something special, not just a hike, but a deeply moving, flawlessly orchestrated journey through history, nature, and culture. Every detail had been thought of. Our guides were knowledgeable, full of warmth and humor, weaving stories of Incan engineering, ancient rituals, and mountain legends into each day’s trek. They had a sense for when to pause for photos, when to rest, and when to simply stand in silence as the clouds rolled across the Andes. The staff, the team of porters, chefs, and support crew were nothing short of heroic. Somehow, while we hiked with light packs, they would race ahead to set up an immaculate campsite! Reaching Machu Picchu on the final day felt like the culmination of something much greater than a hike, it was a pilgrimage. Our guides secured the perfect timing to enter through the Sun Gate just as the first light hit the citadel. This journey exceeded every expectation of comfort, care, and connection. The professionalism and heart of every guide, porter, chef, and organizer turned a challenging trek into an unforgettable, soul-stirring experience. If you’re dreaming of the Inca Trail and want to do it in absolute style and comfort, this is the team to trust.
View full reviewWe did the 2-day Inca Trail hike with TreXperience and had a wonderful overall experience. The hike itself was beautiful but quite strenuous, so be prepared for a challenge. The porters were amazing, they worked so hard and prepared delicious meals that perfectly accommodated our dietary restrictions. Our guide, Katy, led us along the trail and helped coordinate everything smoothly.
View full reviewThe trail was very well organized, our both tour guides, Nilton and Evan were excellent, caring, they had great knowledge about Inca sites and history, even about the plants! The staff made our trail very comfy and unforgettable, the food was amazing! Thank you Trexperience!
View full reviewWe had a private tour for 4 persons for 7 Days/6 nights. Overall the experience was great. A very full schedule with little breaks. Early morning starts, but needed because some of the sites get very crowded. We had a great tour guide, Katia who was very passionate about the Incan history and culture. I wish the organizer was a little more flexible in the itinerary as it seemed we double backed a couple of times. But overall an excellent trip.
