Just a few days before the most important Inca ceremony dedicated to the Sun, tickets and reserved seats for Inti Raymi have completely sold out at its main venues. This confirms the great interest among Peruvian and international travelers in one of the world’s most important cultural celebrations.
The total sale of tickets for Inti Raymi included reserved seats for the two main paid venues of the show: Saqsaywaman, Qorikancha, and combined packages.
In total, 4,116 seats were sold: 3,766 at Saqsaywaman and 350 at Qorikancha. The Saqsaywaman seats were Inti Super VIP, Killa VIP, Chaska, and Illapa, with prices ranging from S/490 to S/850. Qorikancha seats had a general price of S/235, while combined packages reached up to S/1,030.
What does it mean that there are no Inti Raymi tickets left?
Sold-out tickets do not mean that Cusco stops celebrating. Inti Raymi is much more than a staged performance with hundreds of artists; it is one of the most colorful and folkloric events of Cusco during its jubilee month.
Even though there are no more reserved seats available for Inti Raymi, the three main venues still offer free public access in certain areas, making them important meeting points for those who want to see part of the ceremony without a ticket.
- Coricancha: the ancient Temple of the Sun
- Cusco Main Square: the city’s main gathering point
- Sacsayhuaman: an important archaeological complex known for its massive stone walls

Inti Raymi itinerary: get ready to attend the Festival of the Sun
Inti Raymi in Cusco is celebrated every June 24 in honor of the Sun, one of the most important deities in the Inca world. EMUFEC, the organizing body of this cultural event, states that the performance will follow this schedule:
Time | Venues | Description |
09:00 | 1. Qoricancha Esplanade | Qorikancha was the ancient temple dedicated to the Sun. This is where the first part of the performance takes place, marked by the greeting to Inti, the Sun, and the beginning of the ceremonial route. |
