The Ministry of Culture announced that ticket reservations and purchases for visiting Machu Picchu in 2025 will open on Thursday, December 19, 2024. Visitors can book their tickets exclusively through the official platform: tuboleto.cultura.pe
Starting December 19, visitors can secure tickets for January 1–5, 2025. Payments can only be made between 9:00 a.m. and 11:58 p.m. on this day. Remember that this special payment window applies only to the first day of reservations for each booking period. From the second day onward, payments will follow the regular procedure.

Daily visitor limits and peak seasons
In 2025, the daily visitor limit for Machu Picchu will be capped at 5,600 visitors during high-demand dates, which include:
- January 1
- April 17–20
- June 19–November 2
- December 30–31
For regular days, the daily limit remains at 4,500 visitors. These measures align with the Visitor Management Protocol established in Ministerial Resolution No. 000207-2024-MC to ensure the preservation of the site and a high-quality visitor experience.
