As part of the activities for Tourism Month, more than 30 national tourists visited the Lares route tourist destination and were amazed by its attractions and the potential it holds. The tourists visited sites such as the Abra de Willkapunku, Warmi His'pana waterfall, Rodal de Puyas, Qanchis Phaqcha waterfalls, Lares town, hot springs, local crafts, and its rich cuisine.

It is important to mention that this social tourism activity aims to promote the tourist treasures of the Lares district, reactivate and boost the local economy. In the long term, it also aims to establish Lares as a must-visit tourist destination in the region. This also involves promoting the need to protect and preserve its cultural and natural heritage.

This process seeks to enhance Lares not only at the national level but also internationally, positioning it as a must-visit spot for those who love to explore the Peruvian Andes.
