Our family completed the 4-day Luxury Inca Trail with TreXperience (August 26–31, 2025), and I can truly say it exceeded every expectation. We traveled with our adult son, who has special needs, and the entire team anticipated our needs, delivered everything they promised, and went above and beyond in every way. From the very beginning, our main guide, William Elvis, set the tone. He is an outstanding leader—knowledgeable, kind, polite, and a gifted storyteller. His crew clearly respected him, and their laughter and camaraderie created such a joyful environment along the trail. Our assistant guides, Evangelino and Efrain, cared for our son patiently and kindly, treating him like family. By the end of the trek, they had formed a friendship with him, which meant the world to us. The logistics were seamless. Alejandro, the head of porters, managed his team with impressive efficiency and professionalism. We never had to ask for anything—his team always anticipated our needs. The porters were hardworking, dependable, and unfailingly cheerful. The only thing we missed was having a light source in our tents. The food was another highlight. Chef Lucio prepared gourmet and creative meals, with a variety that made every dining experience memorable. After long days of hiking, his meals were a true joy. The massage services by Marili were also excellent—a wonderful treat that added to the comfort of the trek. TreXperience even arranged smooth airport transfers in a private van, which made the entire journey stress-free from start to finish. How genuinely this crew cared for us will stay with us the most. They didn’t just guide us—they welcomed us into their family. That rare combination of professionalism, warmth, and heart made this more than just a trek; it was a life-changing experience filled with beauty, laughter, and meaningful connection. Very special trip to see all the major sights in the area. The tour guide Adrian was very knowledgeable and clearly had a passion for the Incan history. We were very well catered for and had a wonderful time.

Our family of five (two adults and three children, ages 11, 13 and 15) had a truly wonderful time on this tour. Monica was very friendly from the outset, calling us the night before to confirm the final details, and extremely knowledgeable throughout. She took time to thoroughly explain the sites we visited, together with the broader history, and was extremely engaging. Her passion and enthusiasm always came across, and the books and visual aides she used to support her explanations were very helpful. We all learnt a great deal! The tour was well paced - we saw a huge amount in the two days, but it didn’t feel like too much. The minibus was spotless and the driver brilliant, and the meals and recommended restaurants excellent. We felt well looked after at all times, and enjoyed every moment. Machu Picchu exceeded our high expectations, and the train ride on the way back was a quite spectacular. The other sites included in the tour were also extremely impressive and we’re very pleased that we didn’t limit our visit to Machu Picchu only.
