Con motivo de las Fiestas Patrias y el 14° aniversario del Ministerio de Cultura, se ha oficializado la entrada gratuita a diversos museos en Perú.

To commemorate Independence Day and the 14th anniversary of the Ministry of Culture, free entry to various museums across Peru has been officially announced. This initiative aims to encourage the appreciation of cultural heritage and boost domestic tourism. The free admission applies to all Peruvian citizens and resident foreigners, promoting cultural identity and heritage appreciation.

In Lima, notable cultural sites that will open their doors include the National Museum of Peru (MUNA), the “Arturo Jiménez Borja” Site Museum, and the Place of Memory, Tolerance, and Social Inclusion (LUM), among others.

Regionally, significant museums that participated include the Royal Tombs of Sipán Museum in Lambayeque, the Chan Chan Site Museum in Trujillo, and the Regional Museum of Cusco. Additionally, essential museums in cities like Arequipa and Puno are included.
