From June 1 to October 15 this year and during the last days of December, the iconic archaeological site will allow up to 5,600 visitors per day.

This regulation also introduces new touring circuits designed to distribute the flow of visitors more efficiently and minimize the environmental impact on the ancient structures. Tourists who purchased their Machu Picchu tickets before this regulation must adjust to the new circuits.

This change not only promotes better management of the site but also strengthens conservation efforts for one of Peru's major tourist attractions. These measures are expected to ensure the sustainability of Machu Picchu as a tourist destination and a World Heritage site, allowing future generations to also enjoy and learn from this historical marvel.
