My guide was Romario for the 3-hour Machu Picchu guided tour and he was fantastic. I came with my family, most of whom were in their 70s, and he was so patient with my group. Not only were we tight on time, as we had our return train tickets for a specific time, doing Machu Picchu with a 79 year old is no joke. He made sure to match our pace, and catered the tour to provide as much information as he could in the amount of time allotted.
View full reviewOur flight was delayed so we missed the first half day in Cuzco, but Trexperience was very accommodating and flexible getting us joined with the group when we finally arrived. Our guides for the Sacred Valley, Inca Trail and tour of Machu Picchu were exceptional. They provided passionate and informative descriptions of both Incan culture and sites we visited. Their expertise and presentation made the trip unforgettable.
View full reviewI highly recommend this track; it is of medium-high difficulty, but all basic facilities are provided. The food was great, and the guided tour was amazing and really knowledgeable. And a big big plus, always clean toilets

View full reviewThe tour was more than I expected, and Julio Conde, our mountain guide was the perfect person to take us on that journey. He as knowledgeable in every aspect of this the tour, and kept us all feeling safe and in good hands (even thought we are big boys). The food was amazing, restaurant quality, and food portions were more than enough to keep us all very satisfied while out there day after day. The entire staff was professional, courteous, friendly. If I ever get back out for another hike in Peru, I want the same people / team taking care of me again. Thank you Julio for making this experience a magical and life changing experience.
View full reviewThe trip started with a short, afternoon tour in and around Cusco with our guide Jennifer. The next day she took us to the sacred valley. We slept in Ollantaytambo, so that we could wake up later the day of the trail (those that came from Cusco had to wake up at 4 AM). This was a very nice touch of planning. From there we started the 4 day inca trail with our amazing guide Julio. The trail was grueling! You should be in VERY good shape to enjoy this, even people in good shape had it rough. The scenes are amazing and the experience is unforgettable, but the trail itself, up and down, is very, very hard. Think twice before committing! Camping accommodations were as good as they get with excellent equipment. The food was amazing throughout which was a welcome surprise. The porters do all the heavy lifting, you carry only a slim day pack. The final day is quiet, walking around amazing machu picchu and coming back in the train. The last day is once again early wake up (4 AM) to go to the rainbow mountain and red valley. The mountain is nice, but the red valley is nothing short of spectacular, a sight to behold that would qualify for a trip for its own sake. Overall, the company did an amazing logistics job, and even though it is expensive, when considering all what you get in return, it is an amazing value.

View full reviewA true life experience, knowledgeable and amazing guides (thank you Gary and Addy!) as well as fantastic porters and cooks who made the experience seamless. A trip of a lifetime! Trexperience was even able to efficiently adjust last-minute travel changes for one of our group members who was deeply appreciative. Would highly recommend Trexperience and plan on using them again on my next trip to Cusco.

Panoramic trains to Machu Picchu

Pachamanca Barbecue

Just had the two most amazing days ever. We had a small group and within a few hours we were family - or as the guide Filio called us “huahuas” (or babies in Quechuan). It was an early start and we took the mini bus to Ollyantaytambo for the train. The magic started when we were walked into a farm near the trailhead and an amazing breakfast was laid out for us with local produce. The walk was beautiful. Once again an incredible lunch with local foods, the mango ceviche was next level. We arrived at the sun gate after some serious steps. AMAZING! Then enjoyed the views and back down the hill to Aguas Calientes. Hotel was very comfortable, good shower. Had lovely dinner but being the huahuas we also had kickons. Maybe not so good for the next day - circuit 3 & huayna Picchu. Good brek at hotel and after initial confusion of staggered guide for our party of 5, Filio gave us a rundown of Machu Picchu. His knowledge comes from a place of passion & spirituality - carrying the traditions of the incans that have been continued with the local Quechuan culture. We blessed the coca leaves to thank the protector mountains which surround MP. Huayna Picchu looked daunting - however Filio kept a steady pace and I made all those 3000 steps and it was worth every one of them. Best experience ever - fulfilled a dream and could not have asked for better people and guide to share it with. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
